So ...two days ago, I was working at the new San Francisco Jazz Center  with the Mexican Band (from Day 1). From there I spent most of the time, setting up sound equipment and learning about Acoustics  Also, I got to see Awesome Soundproofing in action as 1. While I was in a room behind the stage, I couldn't hear a thing. 2. Outside, there were some jazz bands playing also, and You couldn't hear anything behind the glass.

I essentially had the lead for the placements, writing down where the mics and the chairs would go, and setting everything up as the last band to rehearse was the first to play.
